Bio: Monica Lodge - Treasurer, The Joseph C. Monastra Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
With the passing of her father Joseph C. Monastra to pancreatic cancer, in cooperation with her sisters, Monica used her professional skills and knowledge in financial services to establish a Foundation in her father's name to both honor his life and raise money for research in early detection and prevention of pancreatic cancer - The Joseph C. Monastra Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research. She has since taken on the role of Treasurer for the Foundation, in addition to a committee role in the Foundation's pinnacle event, ArtCAN.
Monica holds a Finance degree from Bowling Green State University. Formerly a Vice President in Commercial Lending, she worked for over a decade with KeyBank, in Cleveland Ohio. She left banking to stay at home, and raise her three children. During her time off from banking, she found a new purpose for her degree and work experience, dedicating her time and expertise in finance to the Joseph C. Monastra Foundation.
ArtCAN is a unique and original fund raising event that features a fine art auction and original performances from selected acclaimed performing and visual artists from around the world who have been closely affected by cancer.
