My husband, Jake, was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer and died three months later in July 2008 at the age of 51.
My children and I watched in shock and horror as he suffered and then disappeared before our helpless eyes.
It is too late for our family, but in Jake's memory, I pray that real hope for others will be available through funding, research, and early detection of this killer cancer.
